Appliance Center Cruiz-In Car Show Makes Successful Return

by Appliance Center

One of Appliance Center’s most popular events, the Cruiz-In Car Show, returned Labor Day weekend, after being sidelined in summer 2020 and postponed by the weather on its original June date.

The free event, which allows people from all over the region to display their vehicles, was more popular than ever. The parking lot of Appliance Center’s Maumee Superstore filled up fast, with every spot filled before the show’s official 10 am start time. (Don’t worry, we left plenty of parking spaces for Appliance Center customers.)

Cars of all types were welcome. The show featured classics.

Exotics.

Blasts from the past.

And family treasures.

DJ Cruisin’ Zeake played classic music and was master of ceremonies for the day. He presided over prize giveaways every half-hour for participants that included Appliance Center gift certificate, car care kits, and original art from Mad World Images.

Tiffanie and the rest of the marketing and events team were on hand for live remotes.

Michael Murray with on hand with his 2019 Ford GT K085. There are only 3 of this ultra-rare vehicle in the state of Ohio and only one with his paint color.

A 50/50 raffle raised money for Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Zeake and his cruisers are on target to raise $10,000 for the worthy cause this year.

Food trucks were on hand to provide delicious treats.

This year’s winners were:

Mark B's 1965 Cobra

Jay J's 1963 Chevy C10

Matthew G's 1944 Willys Jeep

Dale H's 1949 Willys Panel Truck

Jeff W's 1968 Mercury Cougar

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
