Return Policy

To start the return process, call or send us a message on our
Returns & Exchanges: All returns must meet the requirements outlined below. Merchandise not meeting these requirements may not be accepted for return, or will be assessed a restocking charge. Additional terms may apply.
Delivery and Pickup: If your merchandise was delivered and you wish to have Appliance Center pickup the merchandise from your home, you will be charged:
- A pick up charge will be equivalent to the normal delivery charge in your area.
- If you reselect, you will be charged a separate delivery fee on the new order in addition to the above fee, if we are unable to complete the exchange in one trip.
Labor, Delivery, Assembly and Installation charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for a return/exchange delivery fee.
Flooring: Any flooring must be returned in its original, unopened packaging. Cut yardage flooring is not refundable. There are no returns or refunds on special order flooring.
Grills: Grills cannot be returned once they have been used. Unopened grills in original packaging are eligible for return within 14 days.
Hoods, Ventilation and Trim Kits: Because of the special nature of these items, all hoods, ventilation and trim kit sales are non-refundable/non exchangeable.
Parts Sales: All parts sales are final unless all packaging is unopened.
If you find that parts are missing or broken, please contact the manufacturer for replacement parts. We will be happy to assist with this process.
Special Order Merchandise: There is a minimum 25% fee for customers who cancel or return special order items. Cut yardage (fabric or flooring), pillows, bedding and mattress pads, hoods, ventilation and trim kits are non-refundable/non-exchangeable. No exceptions.
*Special orders are anything ordered specifically for you.
Credit Card Fees We charge a 4% surcharge for all cancellations that were purchased with a credit card to recover our costs.
Appliance Returns
- Time is of the essence with appliances as manufacturers place strict deadlines on returning damaged or non-working units. All damage or defects must be noted at the time of delivery or within 48 hours of delivery/pickup.
- After 48 hours we cannot take back appliances for cosmetic reasons. Appliances returned for other reasons must be returned within 14 days and be free of cosmetic defects.
- If you pick up appliances and damage them during transportation or installation they can not be returned. It is highly recommended you inspect appliances for damages at the time of pickup.
- Appliances that do not fit or are being returned because of customer preferences will be assessed a 25% Restock Fee. Additionally, a second delivery fee will be assessed for exchange of the appliance.
- Labor, Delivery, Assembly and Installation charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for a return/exchange delivery fee.
- Appliances must be clean, free of water or odors and returned in the condition received or they will be refused by our receiving personnel.
Electronics, Air Conditioners, Dehumidifiers and Small Appliances:
- May be returned up to 14 days.
- All returns must be complete and in the same condition as originally purchased.
- Original Packaging is Required. We understand the packaging can take a lot of room in your home but manufacturers require it and defective items can not be returned to them without it.
- Labor, Delivery, Assembly and Installation charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for a return/exchange delivery fee.
- Returns and Exchanges are at Appliance Center’s discretion.
Furniture Returns
- May be returned up to 14 days.
- All returns must be complete and in the same condition as originally purchased.
- Labor, Delivery, Assembly and Installation charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for a return/exchange delivery fee.
- Damaged furniture or furniture with rips, tears, burns, stains, pet hair, smoke or other odors/damages can not be returned.
- Special Order items are non-returnable. If it was ordered for you, it is a special order.
- All furniture will be assessed a cleaning fee of $99 per item.
- Stock Furniture that does not fit your space or that is being returned because of customer preferences will be assessed a 25% Restocking Fee. Additionally, a second delivery fee will be assessed for exchange of the furniture.
Ready to Assemble Furniture must be returned within 14 days, unopened and in the condition you bought it. Assembly Required furniture cannot be returned once the box has been opened. If any parts are missing or damaged in any way, please contact the manufacturer.
Mattress Returns
- Mattress sales are final sale unless a NON-REFUNDABLE MATTRESS PROTECTION PAD is purchased from Appliance Center at the time of mattress purchase.
- Your mattress must be clean, undamaged, free from stains and the “DO NOT REMOVE UNDER PENALTY OF LAW” label must be intact.
- Unless returned under our Comfort Exchange Program you will be assessed a 25% restocking fee and a cleaning fee of $99 if removed from original packaging.
- Labor, Delivery, Assembly and Installation charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for a return/exchange delivery fee.
- Foundations (box springs) exchanges will be assessed a 25% restock fee on the price of the box and shipping charges.
- Special orders, floor samples, adjustable bases, and bedding accessories (such as pillows, sheets, mattress protectors, etc) ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Comfort Exchange Guarantee:
- This policy allows for one reselection within 14-90 days of the original delivery date of the first mattress set with a $99.99 comfort exchange fee.
- A mattress protection pad must be purchased from Appliance Center at the time of your mattress order (MATTRESS PROTECTION PADS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE).
- Because it takes time for your body to adjust to a new mattress, we encourage you to wait at least 30 days before reselection.
- The customer is responsible for the transportation of the product, which means they need to switch it out themselves or pay a delivery fee for the new item(s). Mattresses with stains, soiling, burns, rips, tears, or missing law tags void the warranty and cannot be returned.
- Special order, floor samples, adjustable bases, and bedding accessories (such as pillows, sheets, mattress protectors, etc) ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
